Our elf, Chester, finally made his appearance last week. He comes to stay with us every year sometime after Thanksgiving – and keeps an eye on the under three-foot-tall-type that lives here in Abbeville, USA. He reports back to Santa every night … and plays with Ammon during the day. He frequently brings little notes with him – his only communication with us as he, himself, doesn’t speak. To us, anyway.
This year, his first note explained his late arrival. Something about things being very busy up North this year … and Mrs. Claus needing his help for a bit longer.
Feeling Mrs. C’s pain completely … I’m glad that Ammon understands, forgives Chester, and loves us all anyway.
