the salmon family | sneak peek
It’s no secret that I love this sweet family.
I love them.
So when my dear friend Amber comes calling: I come running. Camera in hand.
This day proved to be no different than all the other times I have captured a few moments of these three. How I loved watching them interact with one another; laugh with one another; love one another.
Eleanor continues to grow like a veritable weed. A weed covered in spellbinding blossoms, but a weed nonetheless. Her personality is a treasure. She is a gem. I am always amazed by her - every time I see her. This morning proved to be a bit trying for sweet Miss E - resulting in some fairly silly snapshots. But they’re real. And that’s what I love. But not quite as much as I love this girl.
A daddies’ girl melts my heart - and I will admit to melting just a bit every time this dad complimented his little girl on her pretty shoes, her pretty necklace, her pretty smile ... and every time he adjusted her pretty headband. The icing on the cake - the way he cares for his little girl’s mother. Elaine S. Dalton said, “The greatest thing a father can do for his daughter is to love her mother.” Well. Russell is giving Eleanor quite the gift.
My friend continues to inspire me. In every way. A more gorgeous soul, I do not know. It is my belief, that everybody should have their own personal Amber that they can pull out whenever they need a little boost. She is the epitome of uplifting. And, boy, do I wish I was more like her. Today, I’ll settle for being one of her greatest fans.
Thank you, Salmon’s, for being the wonderful people that you are. Your example, your joy, your friendship, are blessings to me.
Always.
Enjoy.
And a special thank you to a special Honey. To say you were invaluable, doesn’t quite convey my gratitude. I think I know where Amber gets some of her sweetness.
