Marie contacted me a while ago about doing some photos of her and her boys - as a special treat for her husband. I was excited to work with a new family ... and to try out some locations that I don’t get to use often. All in my hometown. Always a treat.
And of course ... this afternoon did not disappoint.
A perfect day, in my opinion. Cloudy, windy ... with a nip in the air. A few sprinkles here and there added an element of surprise. But, since we were working with some very active boys ... we were up for the challenge. And, truth be told, I don’t think I would have had it any other way.
A lovely family ... with a simply beautiful mom; and a trio of brothers who so clearly, and so purely, love one another.
I’d like to offer a special thank you to this sweet family - for being so patient with me over these last weeks, while I have dealt with some difficult things. Thank you for your understanding, and for your gracious hearts. Marie, S, C and S: thank you for being you. Because it is you that made my heart sing that Sunday afternoon.
Enjoy. As I have. It is my hope that these captured moments were worth the wait.
