nip it
Barney:
“I don’t like it, I don’t like it one bit.
I tell ya, this is just the beginin’ ...
I say this calls for action and now!
Nip it in the bud.
First sign of youngsters goin’ wrong,
you got to
nip. it. in. the. bud!”
Andy:
“I’m gonna have a talk with ‘em,
now what more you want me to do?”
Barney:
“Well, just don’t molly-golly.”
Andy:
“I won’t.”
Barney:
“Nip it.
You go and read any book you want
on the subject of child discipline,
and you’ll find that every one of ‘em
is in favor of bud nippin’.”
Andy:
“I’ll take care of it.”
Barney: (mumbling)
“There’s only one way to take care of it ...”
Andy:
“Nip it.”
Barney:
“In the bud.”
One thing’s for certain.
And it should probably stop before he’s converted everyone in Primary.
Because, Ammon wholeheartedly believes that the prophet, Lehi (specifically the Lehi from the pictures in our big Book of Mormon), is Santa Claus.
If he wasn’t so cute, this could all be very embarrassing.

1. That is awesomely hilarious! Lehi = Santa. Kids are great.
2. I want you to know I thought you were quoting a mixture of Barney the purple dinosaur and TOY STORY (Andy). I thought it was interesting the way you'd found quotes to fit together like that... OBVIOUSLY someone doesn't know here way around Mayberry ;)...
